The Cotswolds are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so what are you waiting for. Come and enjoy some of the amazing walks the Cotswolds have to offer. Long or short, the views and countryside, hills and streams, will take your breath away.
Our favourite short walk, not for those needing a challenge, takes you from Lower Slaughter to Upper Slaughter, walking alongside the River Eye through water meadows with sheep grazing. Why not finish up with a Cotswold cream tea at The Lords of the Manor or Lower Slaughter Manor.
For those wanting something a little more challenging, my favourite is the walk from Adlestrop to Chastleton where you can view the façade of Jacobean Chastleton House and then across the top of the hill with fantastic views to Stow on the Wold. You can take in Daylesford Organic Farm Shop for refreshment, on the way back to Adlestrop. If you are lucky you might hear leather on willow at the Adlestrop Cricket Club.
For those who want to make a week’s holiday from walking, you have The Cotswold Way which runs from Chipping Campden to Bath or The Macmillan Way which will take you past Trinity House Bed and Breakfast in Upper Oddington so come and stay at our luxury bed and breakfast in the heart of the Cotswolds.
